Shabbat Shalom on this solemn day of International Holocaust Remembrance
www.ourcommunitynewsletter.org
Shabbat Shalom, friends! My name is Steve Lotter, Director of Community Engagement here at the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley. I’m trying out something new, which is emailing you all directly through our Substack publishing platform. You may be familiar with Substack, since you happened to subscribe to “Our Community Newsletter” through one of the dozen or so article links that I’ve sent in the past month…thank you for that!
I plan on using this platform to connect with you in a more personal way; this being in addition to the weekly event emails you get from the Federation every Wednesday afternoon. I encourage you to leave a comment on this thread (click the “comment” button below), which will hopefully be an easy way to feel connected to the work we do here at the Federation.
I also wanted to share this link with you, shared with us from our friends at Temple Israel in Valparaiso. Special thanks to Cristyne Porile for bringing it to our attention today of all days…International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Please feel free to share with your friends, family and other networks. And may the memory of those we’ve lost forever be for blessing.
