Letter from the Editor
I know I should say this more often than I do: thank you.
To those who took the time to write an article for this month’s issue, and those who write for every issue, your perspectives are deeply appreciated, and our community is much better informed because of your thoughtful contributions. Thank you.
To my committee of reviewers who read every article before it is published and printed, your care and diligence do not go unnoticed. Thank you to Deena Abraham, Beth Buechler, Mara Boettcher, Cristyne Porile, and the staff at the Jewish Federation for your commitment to making Our Community Newsletter something we can all be proud of.
And there would be no need for an OCN without you dear reader, so thank you too. Please keep in mind that I am always interested in hearing your opinion on our publication. You can fill out a survey at TheJewishFed.org/Survey letting us know what you love or would like to see improved. After all, this is OUR newsletter, and that means YOU. We all have a stake in this community, and it is our vision at Federation to see this monthly magazine as a driving force in strengthening our bonds as one Jewish people.
Thank you again for donating to the Annual Campaign and JFS Passover and Rosh Hashanah Appeals, for contributing Memorial and Tribute gifts, and for giving generously to our Israel Emergency Fund. Your support in a multitude of ways is the backbone of our Federation and makes an enormous difference in fulfilling our mission of service to our Jewish community.
