Camp Ideal Director Abbee LaPlace Reflects on the 2024 Season

To my Camp Ideal families, thank you for an incredible summer. I always say that our Camp Ideal campers are the best kids in town, and they prove it every year. We had a blast making memories, laughing with each other, trying new things together, and strengthening our friendships. All summer long our camp staff worked diligently to create and cultivate a warm, welcoming, and fun environment for the campers. I am incredibly proud of our staff for being able to do this. I want to thank our parents for trusting us to care for their children for this shortened summer. It has been a pleasure getting to know each one of your children and learning about what makes them special. This summer season was made possible by your support and trust. We are forever grateful to you all. Next season will go back to the regular schedule, two three-week sessions, so keep Camp Ideal in your hearts and come back for another fantastic summer in 2025.
