Campers Host Shi’Shuk Market and Donate Proceeds to Support Local Youth in Need

We concluded another amazing season of Camp Ideal last Friday with our beloved Shi’Shuk Market—a lively space where campers proudly sold freshly baked challah and other delicious treats, they had worked hard to prepare earlier that day.

This year, our campers chose to donate a portion of the market proceeds to the Youth Service Bureau of St. Joseph County. YSB provides shelter and support to children and teens who lack a safe place to live—a cause that deeply resonated with our campers. Their generosity and empathy were truly inspiring!
