As a Federation, we wish to acknowledge that we find ourselves in an undoubtedly challenging time for our global Jewish community. Many of us are experiencing difficult emotions and uncertainty in response to rising antisemitism, ongoing global conflicts, and the recent conflict with Iran.
You are not alone. These thoughts and feelings are valid—and shared. As your Federation, your community, your family, we want you to know that we are here—always here—to support you.
We have established a resource for the latest information on the war in Israel, which can be found at TheJewishFed.org/War on our Federation website. There, you’ll find the most recent updates and information.
Additionally, we are actively and intentionally working with our partners to ensure that our security procedures and protocols are as thorough and up to date as possible.
We realize that some may be feeling isolated and in need of company—not just any “company,” but specifically Jewish company to talk about current events or simply to share a cup of tea. We are here for that as well. This Federation was built for you—for community. If you feel this would be helpful during these challenging times, please contact (574) 233-1164 x1802 to arrange a conversation with Moshe, Cristyne, or another member of our wonderful community.
We would also like to extend heartfelt prayers for the safety and wellbeing of our Western Galilee Partnership Region, all of Israel, and anyone in harm’s way. We are one community, one family, one heart.
The Jewish people are threads in the same tapestry—an ancient tapestry woven together over thousands of years. When one thread pulls, we all feel it. We are feeling it now.
